The research problem
Autonomous market systems can move faster than their governance. A system that can gather data, form a view, and propose an action is not automatically safe to let act. The central problem is how to separate useful autonomy from consequential authority.
The approach
This research examines agent workflows with explicit read and write boundaries, risk limits, evidence records, validation steps, and human approval for consequential action. The emphasis is on the decision system: what the agent may observe, how it states uncertainty, which checks must pass, and when it must stop.
The control model
Research, recommendation, simulation, and execution are separate permissions. A trustworthy workflow should preserve that separation, expose its sources and assumptions, and fail closed when data is stale, conflicting, or incomplete.
Current boundary
This is a research record. It does not describe a live autonomous trading service, invite participation, or claim profitability, historical performance, or investment results. Any future discussion of results will require evidence and separate review.
What comes next
The next useful artifact is a documented research architecture showing permissions, validation gates, failure states, and the evidence required before any simulated decision can advance.
